Q: Why would I want to change to refillable cartridges?

Quite simply, to save money. If you print an 11 x 8.5 photo, you are using as much ink as 40 pages of text! - Using refill cartridges allows you to use a good quality photographic ink in bottles, which works out at around one fifth of the ink cost!

Q: How do i refill and reset a refillable cartridge?

When the printer indicates a cartridge needs changing, press the cartridge change button, take this out of the printer and remove the filling bung. Fill the cartridge with the correct color ink using one of the syringes provided and replace the filling bung. Re-seat the cartridge and press the cartridge change button. This sequence will reset the ink level and you can then print again.

Q: How do many times can a refillable cartridge be re-filled?

9 times out of 10, for as long a the printer can still print! These cartridges are very robust and there is only the cartridge chip and the cartridge seal that can become faulty. All our refillable cartridges come with a 1 year warranty.

Installation of The Epson SureColor P800 RCS is simple and as with all of our RCS systems, the Epson SureColor P800 RCS comes with full illustrated instructions. To install The Epson SureColor P800 RCS simply fill each Epson SureColor P800 refillable cartridge with Lyson ink. When ink levels start going down, the ink status monitor will alert you of this. Take out the refill cartridge, top up with ink and then reset the chip using the reset tab.
