The MediaStreet 1400 inkset, like its predecessor the 1290, is a dye-based formulation. But that is where the similarities end. Unlike dye based formulations before it, the MediaStreet 1400 ink offers far greater longevity, and a wider colour gamut, making it more appealing to the semi-professional photographic market. Colour calibrating the colour space of the ink to reproduce accurate prints is extremely simple, and MediaStreet offer free ICC profiles to all new customers. Custom ICC colour profiles can also be requested free of charge by submitting a printed test chart. Once profiled, your prints will be able to take full advantage of the extended colour gamut.
